All 36Akers of Opportunity

Media City covers 36 akers of land !

  • Split between the BBC
  • Salford University
  • Studio
  • Retail
  • Hotel
  • Apartments
  • And 5akers of this is designated to a Piazza.
Its just like a real city, this piazza can hold up to 5,000 people for events, which essentially will drive people to Media City.

This could possibly be a focal point for an illustration regarding our brief.
As could each of the areas I've bullet pointed.

Media City is working closely with Salford University and is looking for talent that is going to drive the city.
Co-ordinaters are looking to set the bar high, they want big brands in their city,  not just television associations. David Carr a director of the city, said he's looking to attract big brands such as Google, Microsoft and Apple, perhaps Blackberry and Apple; technology innovators.

Along side these big brands, the city is looking for new, talented business', again not just in television.
So if you're thinking of leaving this year and starting your own business, get your skates on and keep your ear to the ground.
